Cops from the Craig County Drug division are counting up money took  from inside Grandmas a pot palace. The blunt stained cash was grabbed together with four pounds of medical marijuana from the house and vehicle four miles east of Vinita off Highway 60, following a four month lengthy analysis. The quantity of weed and cash destined to end up with local blunt smokers, yet was confiscated was staggering, and also the suspect is surprising. Darlene mayes, a 73-year-old grandmother.

Researchers say older people are growing active in pot trafficking. They look nice — do not raise
suspicion and are much more embracing of growing marijuana in an effort to make extra cash within their golden years. Within this situation, it is going well beyond adding to retirement. That’s obvious by all of the cash.

Craig County Drug cops say this 73-year-old grandmother is probably accountable for 40 %of the marijuana distrabution in the Grand Lake area, that has become worse within the last few years.

Darlene Mayes has been locked in the Craig City Jail on several drug complaints and will probably be billed with drug trafficking.

Once the money was all counted, it accumulates to a lot more than $270,000.
