Feds Waste More Tax Money Burning $1 Bil in Cannabis Plants: Mother Earth Weeps

Mother Earth sheds a tear as the cries of numerous cannabis plants shout to her. Greater than $1 billion worth of cannabis has been viciously rooted out of federal government areas throughout a 2 month operation directed at illegal marijuana outdoor grows, reported federal authorities. The eradication of these cannabis plants is dubbed Operation Mountain Sweep. Shouldn’t we hear more titles like Operation Crack House Sweep — cannabis is the least of the DEA’s problems. This attack has triggered the devastation of over 600,000 cannabis plants of various marijuana strains, said U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of California Benjamin B. Wagner.

The attack, including goons via the Department of Homeland Security, Drug Enforcement Administration, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in addition to neighborhood organizations, targeted marijuana grow sites on open public areas in 7 Western states — California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, Washington and Utah. Wagner reported fourteen people in California have been indicted on charges caused by Operation “Waste Tax Payer Money”. Law enforcement have closed down over 100 cannabis farms, due to unjust cannabis laws, on general public lands in California ever since the attack began July 1st. Amid those marijuana gardens were grow-ops in national parks and forests, such as Death Valley National Park.

Because Obama and his administration deems marijuana as illegal not allowing marijuana cultivator grow the medicinal crop in indoor hydroponic setups, which give drug cartel’s free rein to cultivate marijuana on public outdoor lands. The outdoor pot gardens may destroy vegetation and trees, subjecting pesticides and chemicals to the environment, killing wildlife, rerouting water sources and piling up loads of trash. The drug trafficking rings pose a threat to the community and to Mother Earth. Marijuana horticulturists carry a shovel and a smile.
